Our Mission
Premier Sperm Donors was founded by Dr. John Jain, a fertility specialist with over 30 years of experience in reproductive medicine. Drawing on his extensive background in fertility treatment, Dr. Jain established Premier Sperm Donors in both California and Copenhagen to provide the highest-quality sperm to women and couples in need of donor sperm for their fertility treatments.
We place a strong emphasis on both ethics and quality: each donor has a family limit of a maximum of 25 families worldwide. Our donors have high sperm quality, are thoroughly screened, and have profiles that reflect their values and who they are as individuals.

Donor Coordinator
I’m the first person you’ll meet when you apply to become a donor with us. I’m a trained nurse, 26 years old, and this is my first role after completing my education. I chose to work as a donor coordinator because I’m passionate about this field and about making a difference for both donors and the families we help. I’ll guide you through the entire process — from our first conversation and the initial health questionnaire to coordinating tests and scheduling your appointments. I’ll support you every step of the way through screening and donation, ensuring you always have a consistent point of contact for any questions. My priority is that you feel safe, well-informed, and respected throughout the entire process.

Laboratory Technician
I am originally from Greece and hold a degree in Biology. I have previous experience working in a sperm bank, and I am truly passionate about this field. I enjoy the precise and technical work in the laboratory, but I also value having a friendly chat with our donors when they are here — it’s important to me that you feel comfortable and welcome with us. I work in the laboratory, where I handle the practical analyses and processing of donor samples. I make sure that all procedures are carried out correctly and according to the highest quality standards. You will usually meet me when your samples are being analyzed, and I ensure that they are handled professionally and safely throughout the process.
Katrine Haahr
Responsible Doctor
I have the overall responsibility for ensuring that we always comply with the law and maintain the highest quality standards in our work with donor sperm. I make sure that all procedures are followed correctly, and that safety and traceability are maintained throughout the entire process — from donor intake to storage and distribution. I have worked with fertility patients for many years and also run my own gynecological practice. Through my work, I’ve seen how crucial good donors are for the women and couples dreaming of having a child. That’s why it’s so important to me to be part of this process and to provide safe and responsible frameworks for both donors and recipients. You will meet me during the screening process when you apply to become a donor, as well as at your regular health check-ups. I place great importance on approaching people with warmth, respect, and empathy, and ensuring that you, as a donor, feel safe and well-informed throughout the entire journey.
Sacha Weirup
Director of Operations
I am responsible for the daily operations of the sperm bank and for ensuring that our quality system always functions exactly as it should. Together with our founder, John Jain, I helped build the sperm bank from the ground up, and I work purposefully to ensure that all systems and processes are fully aligned, so we never compromise on safety or quality. I make sure our procedures are followed, that staff are well-prepared for their tasks, and that we continuously develop and improve our workflows. I have experience from several sperm banks in Copenhagen, which gives me a strong foundation in operations, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements. Even though I focus on management and development, I stay close to day-to-day operations. I enjoy talking with our donors and also lend a hand in the laboratory when needed. I work closely with the donor coordinator, lab staff, and the responsible physician to ensure that everything is carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the law.
