Donor Qualifications

You must be between 18 and 39 years old.

You must be healthy, with no serious hereditary diseases in your nearest family.

You must live, work, or study near Kongens Nytorv, so that you can visit regularly to donate (1-3 times per week).

You must not currently be, nor have ever been, a donor at any other sperm bank.

The entire process from application to approval typically takes around one month.

Who Can Become a Donor

To become a donor, you must:

  • Be between 18 and 39 years old
  • Be in good physical and mental health
  • Have no known hereditary diseases in your immediate family
  • Pass genetic tests and screenings
  • Have a sperm sample of good quality
Compensation and Commitment
  • You will receive DKK 500 for each approved donation, which can amount to up to DKK 6,500 per month
  • You are required to donate at least once per week
  • You can donate up to three times per week
  • Flexible schedule - you can book appointments at times that suit you

Our staff will contact you to provide additional information and go through the next steps of becoming a sperm donor at Premier Sperm Donors.

Interview and Sperm Sample
The next step is to complete our health questionnaire about yourself and your immediate family and have a conversation with our donor coordinator. She will also explain more about what it means to be a donor, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions. In addition, you will provide a sperm sample so we can assess whether your sperm quality meets the standards to become a donor.

Health Check
You will have a consultation with our doctor, who will also perform a physical examination. In addition, we will take blood samples, and you will provide a urine sample. These tests are used to screen for genetic conditions as well as infectious diseases, including sexually transmitted infections.

Start as a Sperm Donor
If you meet all the requirements and your sperm quality meets our standards, you can be approved as a sperm donor and begin your donations with us.

If your sperm quality allows, you can donate up to three times per week, which means you can earn up to DKK 6,500 per month. The compensation covers your time, effort, commitment, and any travel expenses to visit us.
